IMS Donates to Operation Gratitude’s Halloween Candy GIVE-Back

Are you dealing with the same problem we are right now? Too much leftover Halloween candy? Don’t throw it out. Don’t eat it until your stomach aches. Donate it!

The team at Investor Management Services, LLC has banded together to donate all our leftover candy to the troops. The Operation Gratitude Halloween Candy program is a donation event that collects extra candy as donations for the troops. The goal of Operation Gratitude is to lift the morale in the Military and First Responder communities, and to provide every American an opportunity to say “Thank You” to all who serve.

Operation Gratitude was founded in 2003. They have over 50,000 volunteers and send more than 200,000 care packages a year. They send a care package to every currently deployed Service Member whose name is received. The Halloween Candy program started in 2007 with 300 participating dentists who collected and donated 20,000 pounds of candy. Since that time, the number of volunteering participants has skyrocketed to more than 1,000 who are now collecting more than 500,000 pounds of candy each year.

Investor Management Services is participating as a Halloween Candy GIVE-Back location and has collected candy donations from numerous employees and their families. If you are interested in donating, please visit www.operationgratitude.com to see how you can contribute.
